I love phone calls and emails from readers asking questions about blueberry farming. Every now and then I get a very specific question, for example someone wanting to know why their field is not as vigorous as it ought to be.

It is really not possible for me to answer such a question without visiting your field and looking at the plants. At the very least, some pictures of the plants and the symptoms they are showing plus a history of the field is required for me to answer your questions.

I also get calls inquiring if I provide consultation services. At this time, I don’t. My main focus at this time is my real estate business and my blueberry farm. I love helping people and will continue to do so, but I really don’t have the time to take on another venture.

However, I do plan to roll out either a weekly or a monthly report, especially during spring and right up to harvest, on field conditions and what needs to be done.
